A five day warning strike of the association of Resident doctors commences on Wednesday 11th of May 2016.
This is to press home the demands of unpaid salaries for 8months in some state hospitals, unpaid December salaries in ubth, luth and uch. As well as payment of part salaries of doctors in many centres across the country.
The national president of NARD Mohammed Askira is however not eager to go on this strike as he is alleged to be very close to president Mohammadu buhari and the minister of health prof Isaac Adewole. He had to be forced even after shifting the ultimatum given to government several times to declare an action.
Innocent lives will definitely be lost in this needless strike. It Is hoped an amicable solution is reached soonest.

What are they striking for this time.

Ain't they tired of seeing people die due to their absence in the hospital.

Or are they taking undue advantage of the dare need of the service they're providing?
