A Nigerian national was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, May 10 after he allegedly hit an employee of the school he is enrolled at in Cebu City, Philippines.

According to the prefect of the school, Ret. Supt. Edilberto CastaƱeda, the Nigerian, Godwin Rimamchirika Samuel, 24, a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering student at University of CEBU, became angry when the office in the school that handles Nigerian students, did not release his Training Center Certificate.

Samuel allegedly barged into the office and demanded that he be given the certificate but when the office staffer, Antonette Ancit, told him he had to pay for it first, Samuel allegedly got irked.

Based on the police report, Samuel allegedly tried to slap Ancit in the face but Ancit managed to parry the hit. Samuel allegedly tried to hit her the second time and when she tried to avoid it again, she got hit in her arm instead.

The victim, Ancit told The FREEMAN a formal complaint is being prepared against Samuel.

first of all remove the case of tribalism it wont take us no where

2ndly this story is been posted online by a filipino website (FREEMAN) which makes it suspicious.
i am a student of the said institution and it might interest u all to know the students paid for certificate courses that they were denied the right to get the certificates

3rdly if he really slapped the said girl she would be in the hospital for weeks under intensive care for medical attention not have the face to report to the media.

4th the said staff is super rude and has no sense of respect for anybody.

finally, all of us foreigners should understand how easy it is for us to be framed up for every little thing you do or didnt do

so i expect some sense of trying to understand the storry that some thing is missing in between before we judge cos we cant see a pic of the boy being arrested and none of those pics look like one of some that is arrested
