You can take a flight to Kano from Lagos. It should be slightly less than 20k.
Jigawa is about an hour from Kano by bus.

I'm leaving by road also. I'm taking a bus from Pen cinema Agege to Kano on Sunday evening by God's grace.
It's about N5500 by bus.
The luxurious buses leave by 4 pm and get to Kano in the morning.
Then from there it's another bus to Jigawa.
You can also get a bus at Jibowu and other parks.
