Someone I know got the text yesterday. I believe hackers at work. Why didn't they say... Dear xxxx...? Why didn't they use Roman figure for the 2? Why referring to stream 2 and still talk about stream 1?

So many questions to answer. I'm dialing DG now.

Do you know of anybody who is not awaiting service that received the message?

Stream 2 are always lucky. Your service year starts the same date with stream 1 and you would still have your passing out the same time. Also you would be paid for complete 12 months.

Exactly,na stream 2 sure pass for nysc.Ur number of months to serve will be reduced n u will still be paid.In a way the are saving ur money for u

funds have been released to NYSC. I doubt that text them cos they have asked PCMs to ignore any emanating rumour of postponement of batch A stream 2. check their fb page...NYSC 2016 service year.

Don't deceive yourself. You know in your mind the message is too true.

It has been postponed. What official statement do you need again? They have your no and send you a message. Do you want them to send you a letter?

Like you don't knw the kind of country you are?

i just read from vanguard that funds has been released, as long as it was not posted on NYSC site about the postponement it is probably fake info, all this hackers might be at it, so lets just be on the safe side and travel on that Saturday 21st, instead of going earlier to a state we don't know so we don't get stranded.

I served for 8 months. I was in stream 2.
After orientation camp, school was on long break. I just went home to chill for 1 month and I was still getting paid.
Stream 2 is the best.

Hi everyone, I'm Dare stream II PCM posted to Jos. I think the name omission goes a long way to disprove its authenticity, besides nothing has been said on radio or TV about it or even on the NYSC site itself. I mean no reason was given besides "logistics" which would imply (if it's true) that the money hasn't been provided yet. Some people (like me) didn't even get a text. Abi are they trying to cut costs on that one too. Maybe you get the text and spread the news. This is depressing.

NYSC Service for Batch A Stream II 2016 has been postponed, yes it has been confirmed, we are officially waiting till further notice to serve our beloved annoying country, i am even tired of staying at home sef, what is all this!!!
