My men went out today for some work around our company facility and stumbled across this giant monster. Of course they dared to attack and snuffled life out of it. This happened at Orashi River at Egbema, Imo State.

If it's at Egbema side of orashi river the python was killed, then its a stray python. I suppose the snake is Eke Njaba, predominant in Njaba/Orashi river belt of Imo state. The snake is a diety and usually harmless.
@OP, had you killed that python in places like Isunjaba, you wouldn't be spared by the natives. You would definately bury it like a human being with all funeral rites attached to it.
