Imo State Students creates history in MOUAU Abia State.
Blood they say is thinker than water, is a very good sentence to use and qualify the great history the Imo State Students in Michael Okpara University UMUDIKE (MOUAU) Abia State created today,as the openly, Endorse their own, their brothers and sisters from different parts of Imo State contesting for different positions in the Students Union Government (SUG) of the University.
Indeed it was a day of joy and a great news to the entire Imo State Students in MOUAU as their brother Hon Jedidiah Chigozie Mgbadigha (ALUTA MESSIAH) won the post of the SUG President (001) and Ugochi Comfort O won the post of the VP.
Amajuoyi Sweet won the post of the Director of Transport, Okoro Kennedy won the post of the Public Relations Officer, and Okafor Jennifer won the post of the assistant Sec Gen, all from Imo State.

It all started when the National Association of Imo State Students (NAIS) MOUAU Chapter led by Comrd. Abangaha Nnaemeka Owen. C. as the President and Comrd Nguzoro Casmir Chigoziri as the Secretary General, designed a bill board for the endorsement of their members contesting for the SUG election,apart from that, they also came out in mass to support their own people in their various campaigns , Indeed showing the love, the unity in diversity,the unity of purpose and above all the slogan of Onye ahala Nwanne, which makes Imo State people and Igbo's strong and unique where ever they find themselves.
In an interview with the members and executive of some associations like that of Enugu Students, Anambara Students,Umuahia Students,Ebonyi Students,and Akwa -Ibom Students, most of them accepted that this is indeed a great history as no association has ever been able to do this openly since the creation of Michael Okpara University, they congratulated the executive of the association for a work well done, and that indeed this shows that Imo State Students are unique and united, and also represents the Imo State governments and the entire People of Imo State, where ever they find their selves, and that it is a very big lesson for other states and associations in different universities in Nigeria to learn from.

United we stand divided we fall.
