In any economy, no one’s job is safe, but in a weak and unstable economy, the concept of job security goes off the table. What can you do to prepare yourself for this type of environment? Here's something you can do:

1. Stay alert to the signs that your company or your job (or both) are in trouble.
2. Don't spend beyond your means. You can always find some non-essential items in your daily or weekly spending, whether cutting back on eating out or drinking.
3.While your job is not in jeopardy start looking for ways to diversify your source of income.
4. Whether you are self employed or or working for someone else ensure to create multiple sources of income for you and your family. This does not mean you have to be every where because too much of anything is BAD. but search out a few good and secure sources of income and then focus to grow them.
