The water in the metal cup will get cold faster because metal is a better conductor of heat than plastics.plastics are categorized as insulators.this means that metals allow heat to pass through them easily (thus heat in the water will easily pass through the metal cup and be dissipated,reducing the temperature of the water quicker.while heat in the water will find it more difficult to pass through the plastic cup therefore taking more time to cool down. 1 Like |
