they cant probe but they can refuse donations or wealth from questionable sources. Thats easier said than done though. |

All i know is that Churches shouldnt just accept dosh from individuals/or bodies without getting to a "permissible bottom level" of the source of the donations! |

Why should they probe the sources of the wealth, don't the pastors have the spirit of discernment? Seriously, why not? They should even call EFCC to look into the matter. That way they'll scare potential crooks who want to donate. The downside is that our churches' GOs, CEOs and Papas would not be able to fuel their jets again. But considering that they can drive the car without fuel for 300 km, they probably won't need aviation fuel. |

I don't think it is the source of wealth of members that should be probed but the source of wealth of the preachers who are notorious for dipping their hands into the church coffers and making a living from filthy lucre. |

Churches should pay taxes and churches need to reach out to the poor, if they start probing people, how will papa oyedepo afford his private jet ? How will churches build expensive and unaffordable universities, If they start probing na only international banks/swiss banks go chop all of our money, at least money STOLEN is used to build expensive and unaffordable schoools which provides some stable education,  |
