Old gist. This mentality is no longer prevalent in Nigeria today. It existed in the 90's but not anymore. 4 Likes |

There is dignity in Labour, God bless people like Emem, we have a culture of looking after our aged parents, uncles, and relatives, so this sort of affection and care will come naturally to " most" Nigerians. A lot of Nigerian foreign students are doing similar jobs in UK caring for the elderly, the ones who thought it was beneath them washing and caring for old folks had to jump on it once dad and mum couldn't send money anymore thanks to the huge exchange rate. In remote towns where a lot are studying, a times that's the only job you can find.. Oyibos reserve cashier checkout jobs for there young white college students. ( my observation anyway).. I know a girl who is paying for her PHD through care work, she earns about £2000+ a month, feel free to do the conversion in naira... Even if people are washing bodies, those bodies belong to humans who were once alive and well just like us.. In Nigeria we have this weird superstitious belief or rather outlook that dead people are some sort of ghost nobody should touch, are we not all going to die one day?? I tire.. 9 Likes |

imperiouxx:CNA is just a job and a stepping stone to any career, it's a mirage to think that CNA is a stepping stone to become a PA, who are meant to fill in for the shortage of doctors. To be a PA you must have a first degree and at least 2 years of PA studies. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Fabulosdave01: What's the lies? CNA part of prereqs to become a PA or PA making about $100,000 yearly? And do you think a PA is in the same category with your registered BSN nurse sister? Better keep quiet if you don't know what you're saying. Your sister is far below a PA and your sister can't even look at a PA in the eyes when he's instructing her. And an experienced PA gets up to $120,000 per year in NYC (other places even more). This far above what your sister can make. 3 Likes |

You've got jokes bruh. As per trump, even if he wins, how is he gonna deport legal resident and US citizens who happen to be born outside America? Who does he get the bill to pass through congress not to talk of rounding them up and actually putting them on ships? Use your head Na. Lmaooo. Some people just sit their dusty ass on Nigeria and think they know things happening in America. Lmao. Coming home in 2-3 years. Hehehehehehe. I laugh in Spanish 4 Likes 1 Share |

nijanigga: It's obvious you jumped into my post without any proper analysis. I'm a PA student (MPA). And YES, CNA is one of the many prerequisites to become a PA. By stepping stone I mean a step to get healthcare/direct patient care experience needed to get into the PA graduate program. Get your fact right Mr. Search google and check all PA programs before you come back to argue with me. 1 Like |

Thank God for Nigerians that work overseas, especially in US and UK. Someone already said it all, there is dignity in labor, any labor. The type of labor that puts food on your families' tables in US and in Nigeria. Do you know how much Nigerians "washing dead bodies in US" sent home last year? Hint, almost more than their respective states received as oil revenue allocations. BTW, people from the Philipines, India, Pakistan, etc are also competing very aggressively to be allowed to wash these dead bodies in America 2 Likes |
