All the posters that said they didn't know how to apply on LinkedIn, I pity you in this 21st century

For those you don't know how to open LinkedIn account, I doubt if the job is meant for you, because how can someone who can't open just an internet account be a Junior data analyst.

The problem of unemployment or under-employment in Nigeria is not because there are no jobs, it is because there are no skills and attitude to do the existing jobs.

Abdail21:
This is the way bloggers sustain nairaland with vital and full info at the expense of their site brand and SEO. angry tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue This OP self

Actually some bloggers think by posting all their blog post on nairaland they gain traffic and back link, actually it hurts the blog more. Whenever a post makes front page, the CTR is less than 0.01%, a thousand view gives you an average of 1 click to your site.

Again when searchers type the keywords, the post on nairaland buries the original blog post especially the new low traffic blog, nairaland will continue to get the traffic and only remit 0.01% to your site.

If just a portion of the post is posted on nairaland and the full detail read on the original blog post, the CTR will increase to about 20% thereby making the blogger and nairaland benefit from the article mutually. But the problem is no mod will give a half post attention, because nairaland is not in the business of making bloggers gain traffic.

The time a blogger uses to post on nairaland could worth more optimising a post, building legitimate followers and readers.

Successful bloggers do not post all their original post on nairaland. But for a news website the approach can be different.

UNIGIST:
Hi Nairalanders,

The job listed above is fake.

I made efforts to verify its authenticity and ascertained it was fake for the following reasons;

1. This Arik Air job post doesn't have a company logo while the original job posts from Arik Air have the company logo.

2. The original account is Arik Air and a search of Arik Air Ltd didn't bring up any company (see pictures).

3. The original account is currently advertising commercial positions which are not for graduates but experienced hires (see pictures).

4. Incomplete job description- the eligibility criteria (job requirements) were not stated. This includes level of education and qualification needed for the job.

Please always verify job vacancies by checking for custom domain email addresses and performing a Google search. You can contact a company representative when you are uncertain about the authenticity of a job post.

Lastly, never pay money to any recruiter for a job. It's likely a scam.

You can visit www.unigist.com.ng for current job vacancies- undergraduate and graduate careers. All vacancies on our website have been verified.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
UNIGIST.

You have a point though. . . Noticed the bolded above but I didn't think it through before applying.

Thank you though!

Before applying please check their official site and avoid paying for recruitment. Don't give out your personal data to the wrong people. Arik site is here:
http://www.arikair.com/careers. If you doubt their LinkedIn page, a simple call to the numbers on their page will solve the problem.

Anyway, good luck to you all as you prepare for their job listings. If you are preparing for the aptitude test or others, I will suggest you try out pass1time. You can tryout all relevant questions in the job and aptitude test section. If it was helpful tell your friends about it.
