It's a big slap on my face today when a friend asked what department am i. She was disappointed when I told her Sociology. That department is for dullards, she said and that's their believe out there because this is not the first time I will be hearing that. Some other people will say....who's gonna employ us??. Don't know why they are looking down on us. Pls let's deliberate on this

dont mind her, sociology is a very employable course, that can give u job at different organization. as a sociologist you can work as a health worker, social worker, custom officers, embassys and many other places. get this into ur head, it is no longer abt what u study nw in nigeria that matters. it is abt what u can bring to the organisation. havent u seen lawyers who are jobless? or engineering graduates who teaches at private schools? life is all abt puting ur best in all u do.
