Yes, it is true that Jesus is the same as YHWH, but He is not God the Father. Diligently study John 1:1-3, 10 & 14. In verse 14, the Father is clearly differentiated from Jesus. Furthermore, there are also many instances where Jesus makes references to the Father as a separate Person.

Please always rightly divide the word of God, and be not in the habit of making hasty conclusions, so as to avoid this kind of colossal mistake.
