Nitel/mtel Must Prioritize Rural Telephony Like MTN With Sales Reps.. by azimibraun: 3:58pm On May 31, 2016
Communications Technology Minister, Adebayo Shittu, must insist that the project be implemented by ntel. Coincidentally, ntel has promised to roll out service on LTE. Mtn won the admiration of Nigerians as it invested hundreds of millions in its rural telephony project that made it possible for the remotest communities in Nigeria to over the years enjoy at least voice and sms telephony services with people all over the world being able to call their folks in the villages. People in villages have one on one engagement with Mtn staffs who visit them weekly and resolve their telephony issues. MTN has set the standard and every other telecom provider must be compelled to take our rural folks seriously. After all, rural development is a major thrust of the shittu led ministry of communication and Technology and the Buhari led administration in Nigeria.
