Yep.i think so too. Still shows my location as Abuja. Maybe that will be corrected when they launch in Lagos.

I just bought my own sim today and I couldn't get it to work in idimu, Egbeda.
Saw some 4g networks under the manual settings

Which of these is ntel or the network does not exist in my area?

It should find it automatically. Chances are, your area isn't covered yet.

NTEL built up considerable hype and expectations around their 4G access....then they lost it!

Poor pricing, poor coverage. They had a lot of goodwill to start with (Kind of like the Buhari administration). Now 3 of Nigeria's 4 major GSM service providers offer 4G data services. I'm accessing nairaland using Glo 4G services. While it's not the best on the planet (or in Nigeria for that matter), coverage is fair, and it's cheap! - 2.5K for 10GB data, compare with NTELS tariffs.

NTEL should have another look at their roadmap, or they'd soon be another failed Nigerian Enterprise.

Compared to other networks tariffs, yes; but how is Glo's ₦2.5k for 10 GB cheaper than ntel's tariffs?
