The OTG cable is just a modified USB Cable, It is created by simply shorting the ground cable from the male side of the standard USB cable. See the schematic

To print directly from phone, you would need a smart all in one app like PrintDirect Premium which prints using universal drivers to all printer model

You can print from a printer through your tab with the OTG cable. Just go to playstore to download the printer driver. Then check your settings if printer(check the end of settings, most time second to the last item in settings) option is factory installed
