Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy

If I were to ask you what you want in life, you might say you want more money, be your own boss, work at the schedule of your own choosing, spend more time with family and friends, take vacations when you choose, play and exercise, build a real retirement a better love life, or better health. That is the answer most people would give. But I want to go deeper than that. What it really comes down to is happiness. We all want to live a long, happy life. But most of us don’t know how to be happy. The problem is we look for happiness in all the wrong places. Sure, money, love and health will add to our unhappiness, but they don’t create happiness out of thin air.

We all have positive and negative aspects in our life, the one we focus on plays a huge role in how we feel. The physical world is always in a state of flux. At each moment, a new thing is being created, sustained, improved, transformed and then destroyed. This is the normal state of activities, and no one can change it.

No circumstances remains as it is. These are the rules of nature.

This means that if we assign ourselves to a certain situation, we are certain to experience unhappiness sooner or later.

When circumstances change, and the changes are not to our liking, we experience unhappiness. On the other hand, if we exercise impartiality, nothing can influence our moods. Then, external happenings have nothing to do with our inner joy and peace of mind.
