Pls is their any Land Rover specialist you know in Lagos? I need where i can run a check on what causes my gear problem every now and then.

It runs but does not select the 3rd gear and after a while it fail completely. When you pack for a long time it repeats the process I explained above.

To diagnose a transmission problem, a lot of question is asked, especially when a technician is not close to the vehicle. What do you mean by 'fail completely'? All forward and reverse gears lost? Does it go to 4th gear?

I don't understand the failure rate, as some VWs use this transmission.

my advice for you as clearing agent is that u should try and are range for Toyota car from america used and clean one from autoexport that I got my 2004 toyota Camry since last two year isn't giving me problem on till I sold it when I av issue .
