Nigerian forces are the most corrupt institutions on the face of the planet. We took some police men and few soldiers as our escorts. On this particular occasion, the police man was looking really neat and well kept. When I made a comment on his looks, I was surprised at the answer I got from him. "I sew my uniforms and buy my boots myself. Sometimes we buy from soldier friends and they buy from us too. Asides the first uniform given to me when I was recruited, I am yet to receive any of such again". This was corroborated by the soldiers. Its a pity. 1 Like |

The solution is instantaneous death penalty for military or civilian top brass in corruption and embezzlement cases. Is he guilty? Yes. Max of a month... Choice of instantaneous combustion, firing squad, honour suicide or decapitation with a samurai sword. Execution must be public, brief and unceremonious. |

Zico5:This is a common practise in all security agencies. NSCDC, Navy etc Instead of channeling their grieviance towards the army cadre, this complaint should go directly to the presidency. Nigerians and corrupt practise are inseperable. |

This is just a tip of the ice berg. Come to federal polytechnic Oko in Anambra state where a large on number of staff have been promoted only on paper since 2010. They are yet to receive the financial benefit of such act. The Management led by one Prof Godwin Onu claims their is no funds yet he keeps employing people every blessed day. staff salaries have mysteriously reduced since January 2016. To our amazement, close relatives, friends and associate enjoy accelerated promotion with financial benefits taking immediate effect. There closed relatives of the management who are staff and have been promoted 3 times since January 2012 from level 6 - 9. |
