Bayelsa born ball jugular Tonye Solomon who hails from Kordia-zarama community in Yenagoa Local Government, of Bayelsa State. Unofficially broke the recent world record feat that was achieved by another Nigerian Player Harrison Chinedu who holds the World Guinness Book record of walking the longest distance of 48.04 kilometers in 6 hours,15 minutes with a ball on his head.


The young Bayelsan who started his Journey from Amassoma community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area to Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa with a new record of 58 kilometers in 6 hours 51 minute 14 sec few weeks ago.

Tonye spoke to our reporter that, the prestigious body World Guinness Book will be in Bayelsa on Saturday, 25 June 2016 to observe him execute the main event.
