There was an accident around Esso bstop, along OBA Adesida road in Akure this evening as a truck carrying sand lost control and rammed into some vehicles. From information gathered, no life was lost but some people were injured and some cars damaged. It was learnt that the driver managed to divert the truck towards a road median close to the u-turn opposite etisalat office, in order to avoid smashing into several other cars in the mild traffic ahead. All in all, we thank God for saving several lives this evening.
