It is certain that students need money in school and the fact remains that the money from home is not sufficient to buy lecture notes, textbooks and other needed things. There are various ways to make money university but my major focus today is Writing Notes or Notes taking.

I usually say this, students need to know that the major reason in school is not to make money but to have academic excellence. Therefore, students need to remember the place of balancing , student have to balance their financial life and their academic life.

Taking notes in lecture rooms requires listening well and the ability to write very fast. It is obvious that students are lazy especially when it comes to attending lecture room. The following ways will be helpful for students who want to make a living on campus with note taking.


1. Listening Well: for you to make good money out of taking notes, you must be careful when listening. Know what to write and what to leave. During class, there some explanations that are key-points, I call it stuffs. Stuffs are the main body of every lecture notes that can give you success even if you have to read them alone. Make sure you write things that are necessary not things that junks.

You need to attend lectures early, so you can sit in the front.

2. Writing fast: under school atmosphere, it's not easy to write all what lecturers are teaching due to distractions, noise etc.

For you to write fast, you need to know how to write short hand, You for u, the-d, etc...

3. Building Up: the notes you jot is not enough to attract students and to make money. You need to search google , search for your topic, download pictures and diagrams to complement those notes so that it can be attractive.

4. Editing: you need your laptop to edit those notes , make sure you are good in Microsoft word and Power point. For you to make money, always use power point to group the notes on each page so you can have large number of pages.

5. Printing and Photocopying: you need to buy printer and photocopy machine, you can get cheap one Here. You need to print those notes, do the photocopy and make your sale.

6. Sales: the essence of everything is to make money, therefore selling those notes is required. You need to know some important places in your university, click here to view some important places

Your target is to make profit, you don't need to be shy, tell everybody you have lecture notes , create a brand for your self e.g "SUCCESS", with time you will be known.
