I want to propose a mega estate for Nairalanders around Abuja. Am proposing a 150 Hectares of land just within the fringe of Abuja, precisely located in Nassarawa state. The facts of the estate are as follows :

1. It's about 28 kilometers to Asokoro

2. The road is Tarred to the point of the estate

3. The estate is 150 Hectares (1,500,000m²)

4. The land is Certificate of Occupancy (C of O)

5. The land is flat and well drained

6. The estate will be close to propose Nassarawa state airport

7. We could have flexible design in buildings

8. Proposing both solar and phcn power supply

9. No encumbrances and complexity of FCT

10. Could serve as country home to those in diaspora

11. The area is quiet and free from noise and air pollution

12. Notable close iconic structures are Goshen city owned by winners Chapel, Redeem church and some notable private universities.

13. Ideal for investment purpose.

14. Above all it is going to be very affordable to all, mortgage plan could also be worked out

How affordable is it?

Housing should start from N5m and land for duplexes will be sold at similar price to include infrastructure.
The attached picture is an estate in karasana on about 200 Hectares with duplex land sale going btw N21.9m and N25m. It's going to be similar to this estate

So what role do you want nairalander's to play.Do you want to setup crowdfunding for the investment.Come up with your business plan for further deliberation.I hope this thread will yield the desired result of this proposed project.

We are already in planning stage with some Nairalanders at different professional capacities

We will be open to investors that is people willing to acquire for the purpose of rentals, rent-to-own or resales

We will also be open to cooperatives

Our plan is to construct the estate in phases along side the infrastructuremore, importantly we hope to deliver more of semi-finished houses were the off-taker does the internal finishes only to help reduce the cost as well as give all buyers the choice of finishes

We will be looking at engaging Nairalanders with proficient skills in the various aspect of construction and marketing (pls do state your area of specialty )

We are also willing to patronise Nairalanders dealers on building materials

Nigerians in diaspora would be giving an amortised payment plan on monthly basis depending on the property type and the agreed time frame (e.g £500-£1000/month)

We also offer our managerial expertise for those interested in investing for rental or resale

In as much as we want to build an estate to the benefit of Nairalanders , we also hope to empower Nairalanders with proficient skills
