People of royal birth are naturally born to do ‘shakara.’ The Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II born into the Fulani Torodbe clan and crowned on the 8 June 2014 as the Emir of Kano, succeeding his late grand uncle Dr Ado Bayero is one typical example. After his reign as the Central Bank governor from 2009-2014, his ascension onto the throne has just increased his ‘effiziness.’ A life where anyone and everyone is at your beck and call.
