The knight of Saint John International Enugu Grand Commandery on Sunday 26th June 2016 bestowed 'DIAMOND AWARD' on Chief Dr Victor Umeh for his service to church and humanity. The Grand President, Enugu Grand Commandery Brigadier-General Peter Adimora described Chief Umeh as a great philanthropist, who contribute money to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in the society. Chief Umeh who is currently in Ireland was represented at the event by his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh. In his remark, Umeh thanked the Commandery for finding him worthy to honour with such an exalted award. He promise never to relent in his efforts to defend and support the less privileged. The event commenced with a Pontifical Mass officiated by His Lordship Most Rev Prof Geoffrey Onah, the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese.
