It seems the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation will be settling for the Frenchman, Paul Le Guen as the manager to lead the Super Eagles campaign to qualify for the next FIFA World Cup in Russia in two years’ time.
According to The Day, a top NFF official revealed that the French could be the man to lead the Super Eagles in the qualifiers.

“He knows our players very well and how to use them. In our meeting with him earlier, Paul (Le Guen) demonstrated to us his capacity to turn around our football.”

We are also looking at reaping from his knowledge of both Cameroun where he coached the Indomitable Lions and Algeria who are desperate to have him,” revealed the top level official.

Le Guen, 52, who was sacked as Oman’s head coach after his side lost 2-1 to Turkmenistan on November 17 last year, is also believed to have agreed a three-year $50,000 per month deal to lead Eagles to the promise land in Russia.

Nigeria will face Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia for a place in Russia.

NFF are bunch of nonentity, just convert the money to naira and see if they can paid our local coaches that huge amount of money. It is alone the local coaches that can Nigeria proud and not this foreign tacticans, well let them come and eat their own cake

Nigeria problem is administration,how can a man that was sacked in oman for bad result be good enough for super eagle,what has the current coaching staffs done wrong, can this man offer better than salisu.so many questions begging for answer.
