In Port Harcourt Today, High tension poles fell on taxis at Mother-cat junction. No Lives were lost though in the horrible incident in broad day light.

I'm sure the pole would have been giving a warning signal except it fell due to heavy rain or it fell as a result of the accident ......but trust power distribution companies .......they won't do anything till the damage is finally done

When someone's house collapses, they arrest the Owner, the Architect and begin investigations to determine who else is culpable. Negligence in the construction and maintenance of public infrastructure should be taken even more seriously than that. Ministry of Power, Works & Housing (or whoever is responsible for the distribution) should take note and get a facility manager to keep up the infrastructure because in a less ignorant society this would be a juicy lawsuit. That taxi driver and his lawyer would be millionaires.

Given our present state i don't think anyone have to worry about electrocutions.

Heavy rain fell this afternoon in phc. That is the cause of the poles falling down
