sexyLeamon: Its one of those classics which tend leave an impression. The main character or the one who's central to the novel is actually dead. |

Its been a while since I read it but its one book I found almost impossible to put down. Talkless forget. The main characters all revolve around the other main character, who happens to be dead. Typical British setting, rich Englishman marrying below his station, servants underfoot and in everyone's business, secrets and intrigues everywhere, mind games, etc etc. |

mockingjay. smh. this series is disturbing, worrisome and kind of hard to put down. you just have to keep reading even if you dont like the content or disagree with parts of the story. the author has done an incredible job here- cant put my finger on what exactly makes the book [and series] outstanding, since the story isnt a happy one,. but it left me puzzled and feeling like there was so much more to tell. the type of reaction i had to gone with the wind, only not so much since that book [gwtw] is hard to top. |
