Is It Right For A Believer To Opt For A Divorce In An Abusive Marriage? by gospelpillars(m): 4:39pm On Jul 04, 2016 |
The Bible says what God has joined together should not be put asunder by any man. But in an abusive marriage where one of the couples (usually the wife) constantly suffers harm, would it be right to seek a divorce? Would God find that acceptable? That why is always advisable to undergo courtship before jumping into marriage. It affords both party an opportunity to read each other and understand what one is preparing to enter for life. But if one refuses to allow due process but jumps in out of love or wealth then OYO is your case as there is no going back. After all it is for better for worse. My 50 cent though. |
