The Supreme Court of Nigeria today ruled that any Muslim (man or woman, old or young, menstruating or non menstruating) that refuses to go out to the eid praying ground tomorrow morning should be bundled into the car by fire by force. According to the Apex Court of the land, this legal proclamation becomes imperative based on the facts presented before it by the Counsel to the Supreme Council for Facebook Affairs Sirnucy Lafiagi SAN.

Ruling on the matter, the Court noted that despite that a motion for stay of execution was earlier granted by an Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, a group of dissidents defied the court order by observing their eid prayer this morning at Muslim Medical Foundation, Shaki West Local Government Area of Oyo State. This action, it says, is in contempt of court and all those involved in the shenanigan shall be severely dealt with.

It therefore ruled that their Salaat is null and void and ordered them to observe a fresh Salaat tomorrow morning alongside other Muslims. The court wishes all Muslim faithful a happy eid celebration in advance.

Speaking after the landmark ruling, Marilyn Iguare, Senior Personal Assistant to Mr. Sirnucy on Social Media Affairs expressed satisfaction with the ruling saying that it is a victory for Sanity over Stupidity, rationality over idiocy, as well as the rule of Law over impunity. She therefore advised all aggrieved dissidents to abide by the ruling or risk going to prison.
