I'm fighting myself Trying not to break
Trying to put on that smile
But its getting kinda hard to fake
Hidden painful experiences were locked up inside
Scared to tell anyone, I blocked it up as I cried
No one seemed to understand
My depression was getting way outta hand
Food was the only thing I control
Drinking and Smoking became a hobby
As I was sinking further and further a deep hole
Bad experiences I thought I was the one to blame
I no longer wanted to live, had nothing else to give
Here I am, fighting myself
To shave off the shame of my deeds
How will I get out of this? Oh how?
Before I fall into destruction itself
So I'm fighting myself
Against all the odds
And I'm begging for help
And I'm begging the gods
A saviour, Oh I wish
The best amongst you to pull me outta this mess
Someone!!! Oh someone please save me
Lest I die in the war fighting myself
Let the sun come out;
With its brightness comes hope
Hope for a better today,
Hope for a better tomorrow,
Hope for a better me.
