In my opinion, You got number 1-3 wrong What you wrote there was based on how you dress. I have seen a lot of male models wearing short sleeve shirts with straight ties on runways.... showing how men should appear during Summer.. In terms of socks, u should have said it was not cool to wear short socks on formal shoes.... just saying Because u cannot be serious if u tell me that short socks does not look good on Snickers... You totally lost me in case of "warped shoes"I have no idea where u got that from... 3 Likes |

myners007: I disagree. Shoes are English not traditional hence shoes should always go with socks. So it's either you wear a traditional attire with sandals or you wear it with shoes AND STOCKINGS |

Trina0936: Nah....I'm no colour riot babe . ..I do better than that. gone are the days when people were afraid to wear colours. Ever heard of the 'at most 5 colour rule'; but must be complimentary colors and neutral colours, makeup colours inclusive ? I have always used that to my advantage. over time, I've learnt the art of flawless colour combinations. for instance, I wear a fushia jacket, light pink camisole & navy blue skirt. then I'll wear a navy blue pumps but I won't carry a navy bag...for what I'll typically carry a cream or beige or brown bag. another one, a skirt suit with a lemon/dash of ivory top with an ivory skirt. I'll wear a lemon shoe + a silver bag..and generally silver jewellery. 1 Like |

lonelydora: Your sense of 'fashion rules' seems static and stereotype. Wearing ties on short sleeves is an all time classic. Its common among the Brits and some 'old school' Americans. I personally love it. Anyone who subscribes to hard and static fashion rules seems a fashion slave to me. Fashion is as dynamic as individual peculiarities and no one should fruitlessly attempt to impose his or her ideas on others. The best you would have said to the guy is suggesting your preference, not 'correcting' someone who may know more than you think you do. Next time be civil to avoid some deafening slaps. |

Gaskia: Okay...... I suggested not corrected. Pardon me. I can only wear tie with short sleeve only when I want to be on full "old school" with a 'Michael Jackson' type of trouser or knicker. |
