I was just listening to this pastor on Channels TV preaching about Finance, he practically told his members not to borrow other members money when they are in need. He went on to say if you must help, let there be documents in a way of agreement in order to be able to retrieve the fund.

Now in a non-christian setting that should be the ideal thing, but what about cheerful giving that the bible teaches?

This same pastors hate poor people so much that they can say this kind of thing, but they encourage members to pay for construction of church, pay first fruts, tithes etc without any evidence of getting the money back.

Is this not broad day light robbery and deception?

How can a pastor collect enough from members and buy private jets and become billionaire, and this man have the guts to say members should not help each other.

advicing people to document whatever form of help is supported by me,this reduces stories that touch, since money can tear family apart how much more church members.
the later of your post is wrong, asking for money for building of churches is willing not mandantory nobody point gun for your head.
As for the tithe it is just a command from God to give 1/10th of our earnings which might not necessarily be money.in some churches a farmer harvests his produce and gives the best 1/10 of it as his tithe. As for the offering if you know the benefits attached to it you woudnt be thinking in some direction#judge not........

You obviously quote the pastor out of context . No pastor can say you shouldn't help the poor. Helping the poor is integral part of Christianity .
His emphasis was on the conflict of borrowing and not paying back . To avoid that sign a contract . It's common sense . To avoid being a victim of wicked man . Because some borrow without hope to pay back .

Psalms 37:21 (KJV Strong's)
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again. . .

Same way politicians dribble you guyz, pastors do same. I'm not going to argue with anyone here, but i'm not gullible.
