The True Narrative Of Jesus The Son Of Mary As Revealed In The Qur'an by alfarouq(m): 6:48am On Jul 15, 2016
First mention of Jesus (may the peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him) in the Qur'an

"And indeed, We gave Mûsa (Moses) the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers. And We gave 'Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear signs and supported him with Rûh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)]. Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some, you disbelieved and some, you killed." [The Noble Qur’ân, Chapter Al-Baqarah (no.2), Verse 87]

Mention made of some of the Prophets of Allâh

"And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrâhim (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is AllWise, AllKnowing. And We bestowed upon him Ishâque (Isaac) and Ya'qûb (Jacob), each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nûh (Noah), and among his progeny Dawûd (David), Sulaimân (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yûsuf (Joseph), Mûsa (Moses), and Hârûn (Aaron). Thus do We reward the gooddoers. And Zakariyâ (Zachariya), and Yahya (John) and 'Iesa (Jesus) and Iliyâs (Elias), each one of them was of the righteous. And Ismâ'il (Ishmael) and Al-Yas'â (Elisha), and Yûnus (Jonah) and Lout (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinns) (of their times)." [The Noble Qur’ân, Chapter Al-An’âm (no.6), Verse 83-86]

The religion followed by the Messengers was one and the same.

"He (Allâh) has ordained for you the same religion (Islâm) which He ordained for Nûh (Noah), and that which We have inspired in you (O Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him)), and that which We ordained for Ibrahîm (Abraham), Mûsa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikûn [Those who worship others along with Allâh], is that to which you (O Muhammad) call them. Allâh chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides unto Himself (he) who turns to Him in repentance and in obedience." [The Noble Qur’ân, Chapter Ash-Shûra (no.42), Verse 13]

"Say (O Muhammad): "We believe in Allâh and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob) and Al-Asbât [the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)] and what was given to Mûsa (Moses), 'Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allâh) we have submitted (in Islâm)." And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. How shall Allâh guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allâh guides not the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)." [The Noble Qur’ân, Chapter Âl-‘Imrân (no.3), Verse 84-86]

What makes it a true narrative?

All you have penned down here can not turn a devoted christian to accept a faith that murdered almost 90 innocent persons in nice just yersterday. Islam has a lot to do in terms of rebranding, for it to be accepted by all and sundry. The brand of islam practised in yorubaland is easier to accept than the brand you practice in the north that enjoys killing innocent people at the slightest provocation. You claim you are fighting for your god, how then do you expect that
same god to fight for you since it's so weak to fight for itself? Have you seem any christian fighting for his God? wake up dude.

it does not really matter whether you accept it or not eventhough it would be good if you accept it for your own salvation.
my own responsibility is to propagate the truth and bring it to your notice but to be guided is only a decision that Allah makes but one thing is for sure ALLAH will always guide those who are sincere and humbly seek guidance and he will live the arrogant in their ignorance.

God establish His covenant with Isaac and not Ismail whose birth was a product of an exta-marital affair.

Ur energy should be directed at ur faithfuls who though are moslems, but seems not to understand the tenets by going about killing in the name of Allah. Teach them what lslam is all about and allow the christians cus the Holy Spirit bears us witness that we are in tune with God (to those who are genuinely born again].

One of the divine Books that Allah (Glory be to Him) revealed, which contains light and guidance, is the Zaboor (Psalms). The Zaboor is a Book of God which He (Glory be to Him) revealed to Prophet Dawood (David). Allah (Glory be to Him) has said in the Holy Quran, (وأتينا داود زبورا) “Wa atayna Dawood Zaboora” (And to David we gave the Psalms) [4:163] So what is the Zaboor (Psalms)? How does it look like? And where can we find it?

As we mentioned, the Psalms is a Book from God which He (Glory be to Him) revealed to His Prophet David (Peace be upon Him). As for how this book looks like, it is divided into parts or chapters referred to as “Mazameer” [single tense is Mazmoor (Psalm)]. Each Mazmoor (Psalm) is designated a number, beginning at one and ending at 150. As for why these chapters were named Mazameer (Psalms), it is because Prophet David (Peace be upon Him) used to intone the Mazameer (Psalms) in a regulated tone and in a clear and beautiful voice that was filled with sorrow, while he was weeping out of humility. The mountains and birds used to recite Tasbeeh (glorification) and submit to Allah (Glory be to Him) along with him, as Allah (Glory be to Him) states in the Quran:

(ولقد أتينا داود منا فضلً يا جبال أوبي معه والطير وألنا له الحديد) “Wa laqad atayna Dawood menna fadlan ya jebaal aweby ma’aho wal tayr wa Alana laho al hadeed” (We endowed David with blessings from us: ‘O mountains, submit with him, and you too, O birds.’ We softened the iron for him.) [34:10] He (Glory be to Him) also said, إنا سخرنا الجبال معه يُسبحن بالعشي والإشراق. والطير محشورة كلٌ له أوابُ) (“Inna sakharna al jebaal ma’aho yosabehna bil ashey wal eshraaq. Wal tayr mahshooraton kolon laho awaab” (We committed the mountains in his service, glorifying with him night and day. Also the birds were committed to serve him; all were obedient to him.” [38:18-19]

As for the Zaboor (Psalms), it composed of a collection of prayers, supplications, invocation, in addition to wisdom, admonition, teachings, glorification, veneration, and grateful praise to Allah (Glory be to Him). It also mentions and enumerates His signs and bounties, as well as containing some stories of past events and prophecies to come. As is the tradition of divine inspirations in every Book, these prophecies are not direct and they are mysterious and vague to a certain degree. They take the form of hints, clues, pointers, metaphors, and allegories. It often requires a lot of analysis, thought, comprehension, intelligence, religious, historical, and common knowledge in order to fully understand these prophecies and make correct deductions from them. This applies to all the prophecies of divine revelations. It is not permissible to simply imitate and copy others without recognition, deep understanding, and study that is based on the intellect, knowledge, and logical reasoning. If you successfully analyze a prophecy and reach the correct conclusion, if the prophecy was already fulfilled in the past, this should increase your faith in Allah (Glory be to Him), His Messengers, His Revelations, and the Day of Judgment. This will be a great blessing from Allah (Glory be to Him) upon you. On the other hand, if the prophecy was not fulfilled until now, then you are waiting and anticipating its occurrence during the days of your life. And if the prophecy does take place while you are alive and you were able to recognize and believe in it, then you have surely attained a great bounty from Allah (Glory be to Him) that is unlimited. However, if you do not live long enough to see the fulfillment of that prophecy, then you will attain the reward of those who are waiting and anticipating the fulfillment of the prophecies, and you will be among those who believed in the unseen.

I know you gave this reply based on Qur'an and not fact about history.

This is how you'll know that Allah just appeared to Muhammad as an angel of light to deceive him.

I know it will shock you if you do a research and you discovered that the Psalm wasn't written by your Dawood but a collection of different lyrics poems.

Some part were attributed to Moses e.t.c
