Egungun (Masquerade) festival yearly marked the merriment of traditional worshippers. The season whereby they showcase their joyous by dancing and greetings their elder's around the city.

Festivity of this so call "Ara-Orun" Masquerade always entertain most people while some masquerades are dreadful most especially in Ibadan City.

Oloolu masquerade recorded as the most fearful and dangerous masquerade from the ages. Oloolu is a kind masquerade that women must not see during his patrol for good seven days, going from one area to another. Any woman mistakenly set eyes on oloolu shall be killed. That's why oloolu set to be the last "egungun" to displayed after every other masquerade has showcase around the city.

Other mighty masquerades like; "Abidi-Elege, Atipako, Iponriku, Actor, Egun..." And lots....

Women are advice to return to their various home on time through-out that week.

Oloolu week starts this week or next week Sunday 24th-31st of July, 2016. At every sunset time.
