DABMarkNig2019:The issue of trust is subjective. Note that they have to undergo extra training to play that role so they are well equipped to take on the responsibility. Hence it is a matter of personal competence. Even among doctors, I am sure there are some who you trust more than others even though they all received the same training. Why? The reason is, personal competence. |

Those of us who their mum studied Nursing in the UK, or between 1960's-1980's in Nigeria are the real original nurses! this quack mordern nurses with over size white uniforms and something that looks like a cardboard box on their head have no clues what they doing. I will not let one come near me with a needle. Use to love seeing my mum in that pure white uniform, shoes, cap and her red belt! Bless you Chief Matron! RIP 4 Likes |

https://www.nairaland.com/3231156/nigeria-nurses-legal-backing-run#47716380 Op posted stuffs like this again Nurse wan open clinic. Were you trained to see patients or assist the health team.Did you do any posting where you were trained to evaluate and admit patient.Do you have a medical license. You can admit in a 5th world country, not Nigeria or any sane countryThe so called leader you quoted na Doctor.Confused souls, open hospital, treat your relative, surgeons or physician no need.Kwontinue Do your job and be respected for it. Doctors don't wanna take a pharmacist or Nurse job. Nursing is a great profession, respect that and don't feel inferior 2 Likes |

The story from Op na frank lie. it's very misleading and erroneous. Doctors, nurses, Anaesthetic, pharmacist, physiotherapy, nutritionist, surgeon etc all manage patients as part of the team and none of them can take the other's role. Respect yourself and don't feel inferior 1 Like |

I was hoping to read an interesting piece only to read another I am better than my position post. I thought you would expand on the nature of patient care and the existing problems faced by nurses on thier jobs. Here we go again. The opening paragraph is nauseating. Policies are for the good of the public and not to stroke your ego. You are a nurse be proud of your profession. 3 Likes |

Looool. I just shake my head for the health sector in this country. Nurses are well trained in medical and surgical courses? Just because they did physics in part 1 and anatomy in part 2. U know what, when u r pregnant, just go and meet an anatomist to deliver you. U hear? Dts why I love med rehab, they don't do all this shits. Nurses always feel inferior, therefore creating pandemonium with erroneous post everywhere. A doctor can never write something like this.nurses shd just focus on their work and forget this pseudocompetition. Hw many classes of antidepressants do u knw. But u know same tin as doctors. God will heal u guys of this diabetic foot ulcer. 4 Likes |

tohpahz: 2 classes? Well, u try sha.... I can aswell google it and post so many things here. But I won't. Leme jst hint u. There are d tricyclics, tetracyclics, the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, which is further divided into 2 subclasses, the ones that work on dopamine receptors, and so on and so forth. Also u don't just give any patient just any class u like. I am not flaunting. I just believe u can also learn from this thread. Google it to get more info dear. God bless all professionals that respect themselves and stay on their lane. 2 Likes |
