The Niger Delta university bayelsa state has been on strike for over 2 months due to unpaid salaries.

The state government has not paid salaries since January till date, students are protesting for the re-opening of the school

This is the state government responsibility, every state in this country is facing challenges but politics won't allow us to come together and move forward.

One is tempted not to care, the first thing that came to mind was that the students should go and bomb pipeline and keep themselves busy doing so.

There's also very serious traffic gridlock in the sleepy town of yenagoa the state capital of Bayelsa, as the students embark on a peaceful protest along the mbiama/yenagoa Road. On interviewing some of the students, they said they are taking the March to the government house, and a lot of armed mine and civil defense corps were seen around to control the angry but peaceful students.

No they are not, that's why I said one is tempted to attribute it to them because of politics. The governor is solely responsible here.
