They actually wanted to conduct interview for some Kaduna Batch today. It was however postponed till further notice. Unfortunately I had traveled for 10 hours only to be told the interview has been postponed. I was furious and felt sad!!!!. Anyway Alihamdulilah!!!!!!!
Waiting for next line of action. I had my first interview in kaduna. Telecom engineer.

Did they give any reason(s) why it wz postponed?

These guyz need to be much more organised, the whole thing looks a bit shabby, too many disarrays here and there. Some people had not even heard from them after the first career fair/interview, while according to Fifthcolumnst, another career fair is set to take place in Lagos again. May God see us thru sha!

In case you weren't employed, remember that you can also employ yourself. I am an Electrical Electronics (Telecoms) Technologist, And I am so sure that you can get on your feet and become a small or medium scale employer of labour....

Where are the IT guys on this forum? Only Telecom, Finance and Procurement have been talking?

IHS don't seem serious with this recruitment. Like why is it taking this long? Some chaps mentioned how they changed the interview location on the same day... like seriously - who does this ? A guy mentioned he travelled for 10 hours, only to have the interview postponed indefinitely.

To be honest Nigerian recruiters are made up mostly of assholes. They make candidates travel and wait, without consideration. Only to turn around and have age restrictions on roles. The attitude of the whole country has to change.

I'm choosing to express my right to an opinion.

The way Nigerian graduates are treated isn't fair, if Nigeria wasn't soo f'd up - people won't stand for half the sh*t they do...

What really annoys me is that foreigners are treated better in this country.

I spoke with the Ihs recruitment staff from Lagos on phone,I was asking her the reason i have not been mailed whether successful or not after the career fair, she was like is not their fault, That it is being done in Batches.

Anybody that want to join IHS will need to have enough endurance till when the whole thing will be over.

I did the first interview/career fair in Kaduna, was invited for the 2nd interview in Abuja scheduled for 7th Sept, but it was later postponed. I applied for Project Mgt. Is there anybody in the house that has done the 2nd interview for project mgt? Pls share your experience. Thanks
