A five-year-old girl, Miracle Uwa, has died in the Holy Wounds Hospital, Aba from severe burns from a kerosene explosion in her home.

An eye-witness and neighbour to the Uwa family, Nwaoma Ndubuisi, revealed that the girl was beside her mother, Mercy, where she was lighting a kerosene lantern.

"When Mercy added kerosene that someone bought for her to the lamp, it blew up in her face.

I should research on that

When I saw the thread I wondered how kerosene would cause explosion but when I read that d lantern wick made d fire blow up. I believe that d blow up could be caught by a leaking gas or a petrol galon in the house.

So maybe d topic shd be edited because I use kerosene to make fire and cook and it has never exploded oh.
