Sometimes we engage in certain acts or events for the presumable fun of it, but at the end of the day we realize we were probably only living in the moment, and that the feeling of pleasure evaporated as soon as it started. Or that we didn't have no fun after all.

There are certain acts of assumed pleasure which I personally think are highly overrated, but my top two are

1.Wanking. On paper, it sounds wonderful to go to a porn website, instantly find a specific sexual activity and then self-service to the sexual act being performed. But then reality dawns on you after you cum. You are all by yourself in a room with disgusting whiteness all over your hand. The sexual activity is still taking place on the screen, but you are no longer interested. The individuals in the porn are actually experiencing each other. You are merely experiencing your hand going up and down. It's depressing. You are wasting your time wanking to a motion picture. You are now left thinking of the many other beautiful things you could have been doing with your time.


2. Sex. I think sex is outrageously overrated. It's fun and important, especially in marriage but outside of that it's probably not worth the hassle.

Its even worse if its a one night stand, the moment you cum, you'll think your partner is disgusting.

I personally like sex too, but I don't get the dynamics in a pleasurable transient activity that makes you feel you have achieved intimacy, same way alcohol makes us think we have achieved confidence. I don't also get people that commit rape crimes. Why will you risk prison just for a few minutes of hormonal surge?

Another is going to a strip club, which at the end of the day you regret the money you just wasted.
