So my question is who's using whatsap call? Is it clear enough or was it just a gimmick?

i still use it and it has the cheapest call rate ever, plus the voice clearity is super. i make almost 7 minutes call for just 50 kobo. bt the only downside is that u dont knw if the person u want to call has his internet connection activated.

I once made a 40 minute call to an aunt in UK for 9. something MB. I was amazed. The sound quality was even much better than regular calls!

Its the poor internet quality in Nigeria that is killing its use here.

2 hours long distance call daily. I only enjoy it when I'm calling international number cos I have a strong connection and I'm sure the person on the other side have one.......super call quality and amazingly it uses very little data.

I use it to call my friends in U.S and Canada ohh

I use it to call my woman sometimes but I have to inform her to go online first with my regular sim before calling her with whatsapp.

I would say that the feature was specially developed for me. Thank you Mr.Zukerberg

The call quality is superb, i sometimes use it for long/ international calls

if u see wia I d make intl calls now ehh u go think say I b importer exporter....Whatsapp tankyu ooo,i think with time it will be d new trend for making long calls,i hardly recharge this dayz

I even do video call self,not only voice call,I do voice call everyday.

Surprised the OP has not joined the bandwagon. I know guys who use it as their default call app, unless the person ain't in their whatsapp circle.

If you have friends who use updated whatsapp versions, in good network areas & always online then I'll advise you use it to be calling them.

The data rate is so cheap & voice clarity is so clear you'll pick ambient sounds like you were in the same room. I wonder why our networks are yet to have such voice clarity.

I stopped using it the moment I had Imo. Calling with Imo is much better than whatsapp.

I use WhatsApp to make local and international calls.

I can't wait for their video calling features to be fully operational.
