The House of Representatives said abuse of office led to the removal of Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin as Chairman, Committee on Appropriation.

Speaking on Tuesday to newsmen in Abuja on the crisis rocking the House, Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas said it would investigate the budget-padding allegations Hon. Jubrin levelled against the Speaker, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, and three other principal officers, Deputy Speaker, Mr. Yusuff Lasun; the Chief Whip, Mr. Alhassan Ado-Doguwa; and the Minority Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor.

Nevertheless, Hon. Namdas accused Hon. Jibrin of fraudulent practice, blackmail and desperation while he headed the juicy committee.
