My Experience With Fraudsters In Abuja Today by emwizzle: 10:18pm On Jul 27, 2016
MY LITTLE SCARY ADVENTURE
So before is start i want you all to know that this might end in two ways. Its either i say this out and end up vomiting blood and eventually die or nothing happens to me, cos we took an oath that who ever reveals this out Would vomit blood and die. So if i die today, pray for me.
So i was coming back from work this evening around 15 minutes after 4 and i stood at a bus stop at Berger bridge waiting for a cab (Along) going to Wuse Zone 5. This green cab stopped and i boarded. We were headed to Wuse. I met 3 passengers ( An adult man in the front, a lady beside me and a young guy in his early 20s at the other end) and a driver in the car. We started moving and it all started.
"Driver, i will drop here" That was the young guy from the back talking to the driver. But the driver insisted he wasn't going to stop nd was going to take the guy to the police station or their union workers. As responsible citizens we asked the driver what was wrong and he told us the guy was going to implicate him cos he was carrying a carton full of dollars in the trunk of his car. The adult from the front sit asked the boy if it was true. He concurred nd pleaded with us to help him beg the driver not to take him to d police as he was ready to confess. "Okay, confess we are listening " that was me telling the young guy. He said he had a boss in Kano whom he had been with (working) for 4 years and had an agreement that he wld be paid a huge sum of money at the end of his fourth year. But the man refused to pay him and was always using them in Illegal business. His exact words were(" The man dey break pipeline the carry fuel travel out of the country "wink But yesterday was his lucky day as the man came home with four cartons each filled up with 100 dollar bills and later traveled. He was cleaning the mans kitchen when he noticed the cartons and tried checking what was in it. He noticed there was a sticked on the carton indicating that there was $1,000,000 in it. Yes, One million dollars. And there were four cartons. He started having thoughts of how he had been working for this man and not getting any thing in return and said to him self carrying this money wldnt be a bad idea. He took one of the cartons and ran with it down to Abuja from Kano.
We were all listening to him cos he looked very sober and confused. I was particularly interested and hoping to see the end of this all.
In short there was a Ghana-Must-Go containing a cartons filled with 1 million dollars at the trunk of the car i was in.
The adult from the front said "See wetin go happen be say as u don carry the money now, u go settle d driver and him go allow u go" I was sitting quietly behind and noticed the lady beside me was also quiet. The driver responded and said "See, no be only me dey inside this car, if to say na bomb dey d boot, no be only go die, so u go share the money with everybody inside this car" My hear was wide open and deep inside me i was buying a new IPhone 6s already nd thinking of where to keep the money when i get home b4 heading to any Bureau Dé Change. The guy agreed nd said we would share the money into two and he wld take half while d rest of us wld share the remainder. The lady beside me now had interest in the matter. Then The young guy said something that changed the whole story line. He said when he opened the carton, he saw some kind of red towel on the dollars and when he touched it he felt a very big shock in him that he collapsed and took him like 15 mins to recover. I was afraid nd knew the money had be secured with Jazz (Black Magic). The driver came up with an idea and they all agreed. I didn't like the idea tho Buh since awas going to get my fair share I couldn't object. He said we have to look for a BabaLawo/Alufa dat can break whatever curse has bin placed on the money. He asked d man in front if he knew any but he replied 'No' he asked me i told him I don't knw any in Abuja then the lady beside me said she knows a woman along Jabi Life Camp who helped them break the curse placed on her sister in her office some months ago. So we all agreed to go there. Then the driver turned around and now we were headed toward Jabi Life Camp (Idu-Karimo) road. I quickly sent a message to my friend describing the new location just incase something went wrong cos i was beginning to feel some suspicious act. We got to the place the lady described nd all alighted from the car. We met a man very close to the house and decided to ask him. He was tall, Mid 30s putting on a white dirty cloth. The Driver asked him if he knew any old woman leaving around there that breaks Jazz. The man looked at us all and said "am sure it's been long u people last visited mama, mama died few months ago". We felt disappointed then he asked what the problem was. Earlier in the car on our way there, we had an agreement that we wld lie to the mama and tell her we are brothers and sisters nd that we saw something like a charm in our bathroom and we needed her to give us something we cld break the charm with. Since it was the mama's son that we met and he assured us he cld help, we decided to stick to the plans. He told us to follow him nd we did. We entered a not too deep bush and I could see a shrine from afar. (Astagfurullah) Today is the first time i wld set my eyes on a real shrine. It was exactly as we saw them in the movies. I wld have loved to describe the place buh typing all this is stressful. So we sha got there and sat down on some wood. He asked what our problem was and we sticked to our scripted version of the story. He (The Babalawo) started appraising the gods and i was just seeking for forgiveness from God nd doing some protection Azkars that i know. He brought out a mirror and was simultaneously looking into it as he was reciting his Incantations. He stopped at some point and came up with a frank face and said "How dare u people lie in front of the mothers (Awon Aye), The gods have shown me that you people are lying and that u people are not even related nd you met each other less than 30 minutes ago" i was very shocked and scared. How cld he have known? Could all this idols be real? Lots of thought ran through my mind and we all pleaded with him to help us appease the gods. He said we shld go away and that he doesn't help people like us who dares to lie in front of his mothers. I started feeling uncomfortable buh i was in it already so there was nothing I could do. (Shebi na me wan chop awof money)
We sha begged the man. So he said for him to continue with us, we shld appease the mothers with chickens. One from each of us. We all told him we had no money on us buh he warned that anyone who had money and was lying wld face the wrath of his mothers. I had just #250 with me so i was sure u wasn't lying to his mothers. Other told him how much they had and then he started asking how much we had in our accounts. Thank God FG hasn't paid Alawee, i told him i am a corper nd had just 3k in my acct, others started mentioning 25k, 15k nd 42k. I was sha looking at them all cos i was sure something iis not right. The man said we shldnt worry and that the gods have forgiven us and that all that is left now is to break the curse on the money and we all take our share and depart. I felt relieved . Then he said we have to make an oath that we wldnt mention what has happened to anyone no matter how close to us the person is. He told us to place out hand on a stone buh i placed mine on the hand of the lady beside me, he recited his nonsense again and told us that any of us that tells another soul what has happened here and about the 1 million dollars would vomit blood and die. ( That was the reason for the disclaimer on top) We sha finished the Oath than he said all we need to break the curse is to buy a virgin ram and a old woman stick which he claimed was sold for 30,000 nd 18,000 naira respectively. I was like where will i get that money from nd he said it is not a must for me to pay today and that I could pay tomorrow. Even if i had to borrow buh i must never tell anyone what i was going to use it for. I was sha looking like a mumu. Long story short, we were all to pay 48,000 naira to break the curse on the 1 Million dollars. He told us to come back when we had the money. The adult man said he cld raise the money nd also the lady said she cld withdraw from d ATM. The driver said he cld borrow from the cooperative money that was kept with him. The young boy who stole the 1 million dollars was still standing with his sober face. Then the Babalawo nd the boy went to the trunk nd brought out the Bag containing the money. He brought it to us and said we shld at least see the money we all hv been going tru all this trouble for. He opened the Ghana must go nd there was the carton in it. Then he opened a very small part of the to reveal the money. I was 100% sure the money was fake nd it was printed in paper buh we cldnt touch because of the curse on the money. I knew i was in big trouble for even following them to that extent. The only thing on my mind was getting out of there alive nd safe. It was as if i was the only one who had delay in coming up with the 48k. They were all anxious to pay and i was thebone causing the delay. They asked me if i had anyone that cld borrow me nd i said yes. At least i know i wld get out of there, so i told them i have a big bro dat cld borrow me. We exchanged numbers nd I promised i was going to be the first to call them immediately i got the money. The Babalawo said that even if i wld steal the money nd return it later when I get my dollars, i shld steal it. I told them i have heard. I just wanted to leave the shrine. Then the Babalawo said we shld leave one after the other. That we mustn't see the behind of each other. They started leaving and he (Babalawo) delayed me and made sure i was the last. I was scared at first buh i knew they needed my money so nothing bad was going to happen. He offered to escort me to the main road to get a cab cos he said we must not go back together. The young boy was going to stay with him till tomorrow nd the money was going to be with him. While we were walking to d main road, he collected my number nd told me to call him if i was going to steal my brother's money so that he wld do a jazz that wld divert my brothers mind away form his money. I said no problem. I sha wanted to leave that area. I have learnt my lesson already. Immediately i got to d main road i boarded a keke Napep going to Jabi-Arab nd from there i got to Wuse. I was just laughing in the Keke cos it was all like a film to me. 1 million dollars and a shrine. All I haven't seen in real life b4. I got home, charged my phone nd soaked Garri. I knew i was going to say it out, so its either i vomit blood or i Vomit the Garri i took nd up till now i have not noticed anything like I'm going to vomit blood or not. Ahuzubillahi. I still have the Babalawo's number tho nd that of the passengers. am sure they wld call me tomorrow asking me where to meet up so we cld all go to the Baba again.
After recapturing all that happened on my way home. I figured out it was all a scam and i was the only victim. It was all a planned job. And am sure i am not their first victim nd wnt be the last. The only reason people might not voice out their experience might be because of the Fake Oath they thought they made. Well i took the Oath too nd i am yet to vomit any blood or die. Today Wld forever be the most memorable day of my life. Hw cld i ever forget such an experience. I wished i was able to take pictures buh my iPhone was dead nd all i had was my Nokia torch light. I have to inform you all so u don't fall victim of such. Since wen did Abuja turned to a city like this. Well Alhamdullilaah for every thing that has happened, and please don't forget your Azkars/Prayers. They really help. Incase u need the number of the Babalawo or the Passengers, i have it. Pardon d typos u see, i had a very long day so I might not be able to correct it all.
Peace to you all.
ABDULRAZAQ AMEEN ALOFFAWY.

Jesus Christ!!!
I had same experience last year.
Same story
The guy mentioned kano too
But I didn't follow them cos I hardly believe in money I never worked for, when they decided to go to an Alfa I just told them I am a Christian and I will like us to pray first that the driver should park
He parked I opened the door and I left.
They insulted me as they drove off.
@op,the owner of the money is one slim and BT too tall guy?
And the driver is one tall and fat man
And another man who claimed to be a passenger is neither tall nor short but black. The driver and the supposed owner of the money speaks Ondo Dialect
