Once i got hurt by my friend, and I kept enmity in my heart against him for a year plus and we stayed just opposite doors from each other, what a torment i felt . He stayed just next door i wanted to hold his hands and play in the sand,i wanted to talk about how good school was ,i wanted us to go fetch water together but i just cant have all my wants because i didn't understand the essence of the strangest gift *FORGIVENESS* i just couldn't forgive him, i wanted him to say sorry first, and i put the whole of my life on hold because of him though i was still very tender i had unforgiveness and i believed he was suffering from all i did to him i never knew that *_UNFORGIVENESS IS LIKE DRINKING POISON AND WAITING FOR YOUR OPPONENT TO DIE_*. wait a minute but that's impossible you cant take poison yourself and wait for your enemy to die its you who is dying actually *_IT TAKES A MATURE PERSON TO BE ABLE TO FORGIVE_* and NOTE : *forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself it is never a sign of weakness in fact its a show of great strength * you have got to let it go you cant give your offender that much power to put your whole life on hold? common he/she is not worth it. you need to be in charge of your own life .
