Failed Coup: Turkey Demand The Closure Of All Turkish Schools In Nigeria by Petmax: 11:36am On Jul 29, 2016
The Turkish government has appealed to the Federal government of Nigeria to close down the 17 Nigerian-Turkish International Colleges (NTIC) in Nigeria, saying they all belong to Fetullah Gulen accused of sponsoring the July 15th failed military coup in Turkey.

The Turkish High Commissioner to Nigeria, Hakan Cakil, disclosed this while hosting the vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Shehu Sani yesterday July 28th.

“We have formally and verbally made our demand to the Nigerian government through the Foreign Affairs Minister. My country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs has spoken to Mr. Geoffrey Onyema on this. We are requesting for the close down of all the 17 schools.

Foolish request.... angry angry angry angry.....what's now the hope of the students who have nothing to do with the coup angry angry angry

When will leaders stop helping illiterates to close down schools? Why not take over the ownership of these schools..... Atleast for the sake of education.

Since the schools were opened in the name of Turkey's government, she should rather request to take over the schools instead of closure. How many are their kids there compare to ours that could be affected by such closure?
