The Turkish government has commenced a massive deportation of Nigerian students resident in the country. Some students were detained on orders of the federal government upon arrival at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul as they were all escorted to a room and their passport confiscated by Turkish police (as shown in the pictures).

The students were reportedly made to sign deportation documents in preparation for their deportation back to Nigeria. In the deportation document, it was stated that they will not be accepted to Turkey pursuant after the deportation and that until their flight is ready for the deportation, they will be kept inside TAV Private Security Room, according to a report.

The detained Nigerians are mainly students of Fathi University, one of the private universities in Turkey. The Fathi University is among the 2099 schools, dormitories and universities shut down in the wake of the July 15th failed coup in Turkey. The Turkish authorities said the schools and universities were terrorist schools because they have links with Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen, whom the Turkish government had accused of being the mastermind of the coup in Turkey...

I can only see a Nigerian, and he is the guy operating a mobile device.

I think the Turkish government is overrating this coup. They should just get over it, i can bet it that those students are just innocent. The school officials should be disciplined and not the students.

Anyways
