Pope Francis has refused to describe Islam as “terrorist”,
because it is “not fair and not true”.
Francis was asked by reporters on the papal plane returning
to Rome from Poland why he never used the word “Islam”
when condemning killings by extremists like that of an
elderly priest in France last week.


The Pope said “it’s not right to identify Islam with violence”,
adding that every religion had its “little group of
fundamentalists”.

He said that if he spoke of violent Islam, he would have to
speak of violent Catholicism, since Catholics kill too.

Referring to the Islamic State group, Francis, 79, said it
“presents itself with its violent identity card, but it’s not
Islam”.


During his five-day pilgrimage in southern Poland he prayed
privately in a church that God protect people from the
“devastating wave” of terrorism in many parts of the world.
Francis told young people who flocked by the hundreds of
thousands that they needed to “believe in a new humanity”
stronger than evil and warned against concluding that one
religion was more violent than others.

It's not the man's religion, race or tribe but the devil inside him that brings about destruction.

What else do you expect from the custodian of the ancient secrets of the Crusader Wars in which parts of the current Middle East was pillaged & devastated, in a botched attempt, amongst other things to "take back the Holy Lands" and "drive out Mohammedanism's wretched infidels"?!
The Roman Catholic Church's had their fair share of genocidal purges.

I can understand the basis for his "politically correct apologetics" but he did need to add that man's innate propensity to evil does thrive better in some psychosocial frameworks and those baser instincts faster weaponized with some doctrinal teachings than others!

Am yet to see a roving band of killer Buddhist monks or a Dalai Lama puting out a fatwah on a dissident?

Has he actually taken time out to implore these guys on evolving, largely more peace-empowering doctrines and paradigms while doing away with archaic and mentally-enslaving spirito-religious frameworks for the sake of the so-called world-peace they've ranting about for decades?!

Instead, he calls pple out on not harboring legitimate fears? The master strategist to the end but we know that game and we ain't falling for the con anymore.

I love the bold but Catholics kill a long time ago not for God or Jesus christ but to drive Muslims out of there land. Now the question is why is the Muslims killing for their so called allah?

No where in the Qu'ran where God asked people to kill for him. The only time Qu'ran cited violence was for self defense against the pagans who attacked the muslims. You won't even find the word 'sword' mentioned in the Qu'ran once.

Anybody killing innocent people in the name of religion is only deceiving himself and you won't find real muslims supporting those barbaric acts.

Anyway I know there are good Muslims who are not extremists but the problem is to identify them when they pass near u. They no de write extremist for face.

To be better put, it is the devil that fills most people with a DANGEROUS TEACHINGS, and making them to act DANGEROUSLY and destructive.

Wrong believing equals wrong living!

Imagine when you read a book and strongly believes in a book that teaches terror, killing of infidels, sex slavery, beating and devaluing women, as of it's root. Why won't you think and act in a terrific and dangerous way? And end up being a terrorist.

Sincerely, it is their BELIEF that empowers them to become terrorists. It is only a HYPOCRITE will disagree!!!
