HAPPY 3RD ANNIVESARY TO ALL THE GALLANT 70RRI A.K.A THE KILLER MACHINES.
It was on this same 3rd day of August 2013 that we all started this journey and assignment of selfless service to our fatherland. The memory is still very fresh in our hearts as though it was just yesterday. God brought us from different parts of the country to be united as one big family, irrespective of our tribes, ethnicity and religion.
Out of the many thousand of us that successfully endured and survived the training, just as we were told on the day of our POP that we can never gather in our place with complete number on a parade again till eternity; As we were scattered to different corps and all walks of life. It bacame so obvious that that speech was neither a threat nor a prophesy but a reality and part of life. We lost some of our Regus in the course of defending our father land, some blow AWOL, miss in action, and left in so many other ways.
We specially dedicate this day to praying for the souls of all our mates who are no more alive to celebrate this day. And as we do that, let's all be conscious of the fact that we were not better of than them, but the grace of God kept us all this while. Let's also use this day to renew our relationship with God who daily keeps and protect us.
And I pray for the rest of us living, we shall fulfill our purpose on earth in Jesus name, we shall never be cut off by misfortunes or accident in the course of our service to our nation in Jesus name. We shall continue to be the heads and not the tails in Jesus name. We shall be protected from the winds of evil, from the destructions that wasted in noon, from the pestilence that walks in darkness, a thousand shall fall at our side, ten thousands at our right hands in Jesus name. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we shall not be afffraid cos it can only get better for us in Jesus name. Amen.
Once again happy 3rd anniversary to all the Gallant, Crack, undiluted, suicide, Killer machines and combattant intakes. And may the souls of our Fallen heroes contir to rest in Peace in Jesus name. Amen.
