What is the difference between a Christian and a disciple? Are the terms "disciple" and "Christian" synonymous?

A disciple is usually subservient and adheres to the teachings of his master but does not worship his master . A Christian is subservient to God's commands , adheres to God's teachings and worships Him . So the difference is worship I think .

Disciples learn from Christ and perhaps teaches others while Christian are people who believe in Christ.

D world disciple have to do with total commitment they follow d teachings of their master without further questioning whether its right or wrong a disciple can die protecting his master a disciple can kill for his master but a christian is more passive a christian can retreat easily when d going become tough but a disciple will go on even if it leads to death
