@kobojunkie @babalawo, what u have dropped here can only be termed, THE BITTER TRUTH. if u are like this, pls remain like this and never be worried abt ppl been disgusted or hating u. lagos! lagos!! lagos!!!, is 1 out of 36 a good result? fashola is rulling lagos with all the seized state allocation under obj/tinubu and besides that, lagos's internal revenue can only be compared to that of a country and we must ask, how many of our states are entitle to such funds? soludo himself knows he has no such plans but he is the colourful candidate pdp has been searching for to steal anambra state. soludo as we speak is not sure of himself hence he can only context under prof iwu's led pdp. if manifestoes or debates are the bases for the new found elections in nigeria, i will then call that, A NEW WINE IN THE OLD JAR. the same ogbulafor who failed in abia state and is still failing there, the same obj who believe in anointed candidates with the same iwu the stupid professor. who is decieving who? if promises are to be go by, what happened to obj's promise of steady power suplly in his first tenure and what abt yar adua's promise of steady power supply within six months in office. i will suggest that soludo shld be careful before the hunter will turn to the hunted. rumours of yar adua been mentally ill is in the air and i see no differences in the partern through which the former get to power and what soludo is abt to do in anambra. we all know, he has 98% access to the govt house but he shld learn to keep quiet and enjoy his new found favours from the owners of nigeria. |

Will this drama ever end in Anambra? Even after the elections, the problem that will exist will even be greater than before the elections. |

Even with his money and transformation hypothesis,he will steal come and embezzle public fund.I remembered when gbenga daniel came into power in 2003,he declared over #500 billion when he was re-elected in 2007,he told the whole world that his wealth diminishes as a governor compared to when he was a governor and i asked myself, what does he spend money on when virtually everything is at his disposal including the state treasury.Nigerians are tired of empty promises at all level. How will he turn anambra to dubai in 4 years,i guessed he's even thinking about spending two terms in office.Nigerians need credible people in office and not those coming in to loot our treasury. |

paddy_lo: So we thought in the case of Ekiti, but what happened later, it even became the "worstest"election in the surface of the earth. Anambra's case will be "more worstest" |

Enjoyment1: Can Maurice Iwu conduct any credible election in his family, talk less in Anambra? Every department in this great nation needs purging, perhaps, by revolution. Just look at Nigeria since the advent of democracy, are we making progress, or stagnated? Is democracy a blessing or otherwise? |

LSU: I wonder why Soludo feels he can overthrow Obi? Now he is insinuating that, Obi is hiding behind Ojukwu. I fear for the worst for this election in just 3 weeks. Let the best candidate win. |

Soludo Takes Anambra Election To Vatican Joe Chukwudi, Awka , May 17 2010 12:53pm If feelers reaching the desk of Ukpakareports.com are anything to go by, then the PDP candidate in the last governorship election in Anambra may have made good his threat of taking on the Anambra Catholic Community for favouring his APGA counterpart, Mr Peter Obi in the election. Our correspondent gathered that Soludo has recently petitioned the head of the Vatican, Pope Benedict XVI over the role of the Anambra Catholic community in the 6th February election in the state. A source hinted Ukpakareports.com that Soludo who had expressed disdain over the activities of the church in making sure that Obi emerged victorious in the election has petitioned the Pope, asking for the questioning of Catholic Bishops in the state over their role in the victory of Obi. It was gathered that the petition was through some high power Catholic connection sent straight to the Pope without passing through the other lower offices in the Vatican. This was necessitated by the knowledge of the petitioner of the connections of Mr. Obi in the Catholic community being that his younger brother is a priest at the Vatican and his elder sister a reverend sister, the petition was made to by pass other offices straight to the Pope. According to our source, the petition is currently being treated by the Pope who may soon invite the Bishops for questioning over their role. Even Cardinal Arinze who is said to be in charge of the church’s African affairs was not aware when the petition found its way to the office of the Pope the source said. It would be recalled that Soludo and Dr Chris Ngige the AC candidate had accused the head of the Catholic Church in Anambra State of colluding with Obi to coerce Catholic faithful in the state to vote for APGA. Reverend fathers were said to have been dispatched to various polling centres in the state to intimidate voters from the Catholic Church to vote for Obi, with the threat that they may forfeit receiving the Holy Communion if they vote to the contrary. Mr. Peter Obi, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Dr Chris Nwabueze, Hon Uche Ekwunife of PPA are some of the candidates in the last election who are catholic faithful, and had also visited the church during campaigns to solicit the vote of members. http://www.ukpakareports.com/news.php?news_id=847&%20type_id=2 |

Well, at least the man had big dreams for the state and who knows. He may have actually believed, as I do, that there is no reason why Anambra should remain the way it is considering what the state has available to it. |
